We provide solutions for training and behavior problems, including basic manners and obedience, leash manners, aggressive or fearful behaviors and specialized training such as tricks or improved focus for performance dogs. Our training programs are customized to suit each client's needs.

Be involved in the training process as much or as little as you would like! Our innovative program can do the hard work for you or allow you to be more actively involved in the training process as we coach you to train your dog, or we can develop a program that provides a combination of both options.

Because each dog is unique, we do not sell pre-set packages of training sessions. Instead, we customize our training programs to each dog and owner, so that you won't buy more sessions than you need to reach your goals.

CANINE HOME SCHOOL

We offer an alternative for dog owners who would like to live with a well-behaved dog, but do not wish to be involved in the training process, which requires significant time to learn and practice the skills necessary. Let us do the hard work for you, so you can enjoy life with your dog!

For each weekly training program, we work directly with your dog three times during the week, and then meet with you and your family at the end of the week to teach you how to get the same results on your own. We also include follow-up sessions to refine your dog's new skills and keep you on track.

OWNER COACHING

For dog owners who love to learn and want be actively involved with their dog's training or for hobby dog trainers and competitors, we will work with you to teach you the skills and knowledge you will need to train your dog effectively and provide solutions for problem behaviors.

These progressive training sessions are scheduled two weeks apart, to give you time to practice your dog's training before we move on to the next step.

All K911 sessions are scheduled with Lisa Mullinax, CPDT. Our training and behavior programs are taught using humane training methods and equipment. 4Paws University is fully licensed and insured.

Euthanasia Policy: It is the policy of 4Paws University not to suggest euthanasia. We strongly believe this is a personal choice to be made by owners after considering all factors, including severity and predictability of behavior, response to training, effective management and potential liability. Our role in this regard is to provide the owner with a clear view of those factors. If euthanasia is being considered by the owner, we can offer consultation and appropriate referrals for additional opinions, as necessary.
